The Color-Changing Shirt Bracket is underway and surprises were plentiful. We learned what your favorite character is from Frozen and had some fair shares of upsets. It’s time again to vote in the Sweet 16, helping determine which shirts will advance to the Elite Eight. First, let’s recap what happened in the round of 32.
In the Disney Princess region, seventh-seed Ariel Ink was a clear favorite. It had the advantage over No. 2 seed Cinderella Florals from the beginning and never gave up its lead. Higher seeds No. 1 My Castle My Rules and No. 4 All Tangled won the matchup against lower seeds No. 8 Let the Magic Begin and No. 5 Cinderella Ink, respectively. Sixth-seed Princess Dreams knocked out No. 3 Rapunzel Love out of the competition by 107 votes.
There is a lot of love for Olaf in the Frozen region. Shirts featuring the happy snowman won with a combined 495 votes. Olaf shirts were the higher seeds in each matchup, so there weren’t any upsets. No. 2 seed Olaf Hot Stuff defeated seventh-seed Elsa & Snowflakes, No. 3 seed I Like Warm Hugs won over sixth-seed Elsa and Anna and fourth-seed I’ll Melt For You beat fifth-seed Strong Heart. It looks like it’ll come down to the favorite Olaf design.
Unlike the Frozen region, the Star Wars region featured tighter races. The No. 1 seed Droids conquered over eighth-seed Vader Grunge by a narrowing 55 votes. No. 2 seed Fantasy Poster triumphed against seventh-seed Boba Fett Grunge. Fourth-seed Vader Silhouette earned this region’s most dominate win, beating fifth-seed X-Wing Chase by 159 votes. No. 3 seed Vader Vintage beat No. 6 seed Stormtrooper Boxes to finish the top seed sweep.
Two upsets came in the Marvel region. Fifth-seed I Was Born Awesome defeated No. 4 Circle of Friends and sixth-seed Superhero Explosion won over third-seed Captain America in Color. Meanwhile, No. 1 seed Avengers Group won with ease over eighth-seed Spider-Man Crawls and two-seed Retro Comic Group beat No. 7 seed 3 Avengers.
